Terms and conditions

1. Interpretation

In these Terms and Conditions, unless the context requires otherwise, the following expressions will have the following meanings:
“Arrival date” means the date on which the Client's stay in the Apartment is to commence, according to the Booking Details.
"Reservation" refers to the accommodation reservation made by the Client and the rest of the products and services described in the Reservation, accepted by REM Apartamentos.
“Reservation Details” means the details of the Reservation, including the number of Guests, the number of rooms required, the duration of the Guests' stay in the Apartment and any other products or services to be included in the Reservation.
"Expenses" refers to the expenses that the Client must pay in relation to the Reservation
"Contract" means the contract between the Client and REM Apartments in relation to the Booking.
"Client" refers to the person who makes the Reservation
"REM Apartamentos" refers to the establishments of the group
“Guests” means the Client and any third party invited by the Client to the Apartment in connection with the Booking.
“Flat” means the flat owned or operated by REM Apartamentos, the location of which is specified in the Reservation.

2. Reservations

2.1 Clients may request Reservations through the REM Apartments website or by contacting REM Apartments staff at the Apartment.
2.2 When making the Reservation, Clients must provide identification data including, among others, their name, address, contact telephone number, email address and credit card details as a guarantee.
2.3 Booking requests shall not be considered accepted unless and until REM Apartamentos confirms their acceptance and provides a booking reference, at which point the Contract shall come into force.
2.4 Subject to clause 4, REM Apartments will endeavour as far as possible to accommodate any request by the Client to change the Booking Details. However, requests for a change of date or extension of stay or addition of products or services will be subject to availability; and the Client will be charged for the extension of stay or products or services at REM Apartments' current rates.

3. Fees and payment

3.1 The Charges shall be those indicated by REM Apartments to the Client at the time of the Client's request for a Reservation.
3.2 Unless otherwise agreed by REM Apartments, the Charges shall only cover the provision of accommodation in the Apartment.
3.3 Clients will be informed of the amount of additional Expenses before incurring them.
3.4 The Reservations will be subject to the Client making the payment of the Expenses in full in advance.
3.5 If payment has not been made in advance at the time of making the Reservation, the Customer shall pay the Charges immediately at the time of check-in to the Apartment. Any additional Charges must be paid at the time they are incurred.
3.6 REM Apartments accepts the following payment methods:
3.6.1 Credit and debit cards American Express, Visa, Union Pay, Maestro and Mastercard.
3.7 You must bear in mind that reservations will be made for stays equal to or less than 90 nights; reservations for 90 or more nights  will be subject to special conditions.

4. Cancellations

4.1 Subject to clause 4.2, the Client may cancel the Reservation without any surcharge by giving notice to REM Apartments 48 hours before 15:00 hours (local time) on the Arrival Date, in which case REM Apartments will refund the Client all amounts paid in advance, except in the case of the non-refundable rate. The client must notify the cancellation via email to the email address info@remapartamentos.com. indicating the reservation number.
4.2 When the Client has been offered a discounted rate on condition of non-cancellation of the Reservation, as long as the Client has been informed of said condition, the Reservation may not be canceled and the Expenses applicable to said Reservation must be paid in full.
4.3 Where the Client has not duly informed of the cancellation under clause 4.1 or does not come (no-show) to the Apartment, the Reservation shall be deemed cancelled and the Client shall be liable to pay the Apartment a sum equivalent to the Charges applicable to the first night's stay in the Apartment.
4.4 REM Apartments may at any time cancel a Reservation in the event of non-availability due to circumstances beyond the control of REM Apartments, in which case REM Apartments will pay the Client a full refund of any booking fees and charges.
4.5 REM Apartamentos may cancel the Reservation at any time if the payment details provided by the Client are not valid and the Client does not provide alternative valid details.

5. Check-in and check-out

5.1 Check-in time at the Apartment shall be 16:00 hours, check-in may be postponed until 24:00 hours on the day of arrival. Earlier check-in may be possible, and is subject to availability at the time of arrival.
5.2 Departure time from the Apartment shall be 12:00 noon. Departures after this time may result in the Client being charged for one night's accommodation in addition to the applicable standard rate.

6. Flat Rules

We remind you that during your stay, if you have any problems or need information, please do not hesitate to contact us on 672 733 692.  We are at your service 24 hours a day.

6.1 GENERAL RULES:
Each apartment has kitchen utensils for 2-4 people, please report any lack.

  • Kitchen utensils and kitchenware must be clean and placed in their proper place at the time of departure.
  • We appreciate depositing the garbage bags in the containers.
  • We ask that from 00:00 to 08:00 and from 15:00 to 17:00 respect the rest of the rest of the guests.
  • The maximum departure time on the last day of your stay will be at 12 noon. If you wish to stay longer in the apartment, notify the contact telephone number 672.733.692.
  • If you wish to park your vehicle for one or more days, please let us know so that we can provide you with the access code.

6.2 IT IS TOTALLY FORBIDDEN:

  • Make improper use of the furniture and belongings of the apartment / as well as its use outside it.
  • Accommodate more people than authorized per apartment.
  • Introduce animals in common areas and other rooms.
  • Parties or events are not allowed.
  • Smoking is forbidden inside the flats and building, except in designated areas, if any.

It is everyone's responsibility to take care of the environment, not leaving lights or electrical appliances on and not leaving taps open. CONSUME IN MODERATION.

The client is responsible for all damages caused to the facilities, furniture and belongings in the flats during their stay and undertakes to comply with the general rules established, for which he/she must DEPOSIT A DEPOSIT OF 200 € TO BE DETAINED ON THE CARD, WHEN MAKING THE RESERVATION.

THE DEPOSIT WILL BE RETURNED ON DEPARTURE, AFTER DELIVERING THE KEYS AND ADDITIONAL OBJECTS USED AND ONCE WE HAVE CHECKED THAT THERE IS NO DAMAGE OR DAMAGE. IF THE INFRINGEMENT OR THE DAMAGES AND DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF THE DEPOSIT, THE DIFFERENCE WILL BE CHARGED UP TO THE AMOUNT. POSSIBLE SANCTIONS. Small Towels € 10, Large Towel € 20, Sheets € 30, Bedspread € 50, Small TV € 200, Large TV € 350, Microwave € 80, Sofa € 200, Tables € 20, Curtain € 100, Tablecloth € 25, Pans 20 €, Pot € 30, Shower Telephone € 30, Entry Telephone € 50.

If you wish to use our room cleaning service, the price is 12 €/hour.

We recommend that you close all the doors and windows of the apartment during your stay. THE COMPANY IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR POSSIBLE THEFT OR THEFT. Please never leave the Apartment Card out of your reach to avoid such theft.

FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH ANY OF THESE POINTS, ESPECIALLY THOSE THAT RESULT IN A LACK OF RESPECT FOR OTHER RESIDENTS, MAY BE CONSIDERED AS A CAUSE OF CONTRACTUAL BREAKAGE WITHOUT RIGHT TO REIMBURSEMENT FOR SERVICES NOT ENJOYED BY THE OFFENDER.

7. Food and drink

7.1 Unless otherwise agreed by REM Apartments, the Expenses do not include food and beverages.

8. Guests with functional diversity

8.1 REM Apartments complies with all laws governing the treatment and provision of services to Guests with disabilities.
8.2 Those Clients with special requirements associated with functional diversity must inform the Apartment management team prior to the Arrival Date.
